Cheshire Calm is available for group relaxation, meditation and mindfulness training in the workplace. Simple mindfulness and meditation techniques can be used in everyday life, including in the worksplace, and are ideal for managing stress and encouraging greater mental clarity and wellbeing.
Training can be provided for groups of up to 10 individuals at a time. No previous experience is required, no special equipment or facilities are needed beyond a reasonably quiet room and some chairs. The techniques taught are simple and effective.
Short taster sessions, or longer courses can be provided. Sessions generally take an hour (45 minutes with time for crowd control). Multiple sessions can be organised during the course of half a day or a full day for large numbers of individuals. Training is provided by Dr Jim Wilson, who has been teaching for many years, and has experience working with groups with little or no experience. James's other "day job" is in scientific consultancy, so he is familiar with modern workplace environments. Jim has experience in providing training to highly-experienced professionals (e.g. medical consultants, nurses) and has spoken and chaired at international conferences.
